MATHEMATICAL SOLUTION OF IMBIBITION PHENOMENON IN VERTICAL HETEROGENEOUS POROUS MEDIUM

The phenomenon of imbibition is great importance in the petroleum industry. In this analysis, we have studied Counter-current through mathematical modelling a double non-miscible phase vertical heterogeneous porous medium, which ensues process oil recovery. non-linear partial differential equation second-order result formulation. Variational iteration approach applied to attain approximate analytical solution governing equation. solution's numerical outcomes and graphical representations are identified with help MATLAB.
